Like the gaming collection, i did not know if there was one here. Currently I do not have my list but last i counted, my wife and I have 51 complete anime series and handfull of ones we are working on getting completed. |

How is death note? been debating on it for awhile. One series i plead with you to NEVEr buy is Excel saga. i cannot make it thru the first episode. matter of fact i can make it only to the halfway cut of the first episdoe. When i was in hawaii, it was at the flea market for 5 bucks. I got betterman but not chance to watch it yet. how is it? Oh I am a mecha junkie as well. |

-Death Note is amazing. I absolutely love it. I'm sure you know what it's about, so I won't go into that, but it's very well done. Part of the fun is guessing what the characters are planning. (I was never able to follow it until after it was explained, but I was loving every minute of it.) The plots pile on top of each other, and the climaxes are always great. -I've only ever heard of Excel Saga in passing mention, but wow, that sounds bad. Kinda reminds me of when I started watching Lucky Star. I knew it was popular, so I looked it up on youtube to see if it was any good at all. Truth be told, it was actually painful. Nothing ever happened, the humor wasn't that great, (But it had a few good moments, admittedly.) and it was all-around uninteresting. I was actually ready to end it at the first episode, but the ending segment saved it. I kept watching and thought the main segment got better in time and ended up really enjoying it. -Betterman is enjoyable, but let me warn you, it's FULL of scientific babble. I was able to understand and make sense of it, but not everyone would. (And it's real-science babble, not fake star trek technobabble.) Other than that, action scenes are great, plot was plenty coherent, everything tied up nicely, and it's got one of my favorite ending themes of all time. |

I don't have any collection, but I would like to point out that I think Code Geass is the best mecha-anime I ever saw. |
