Now that we have settled into the new update a bit and things seem to be working better, I would like to highlight some of the better new features that are available here. New Quick Links System Preferences have been retired, however, we see the return of the Arcade! There is also another new link and an entirely new feature, Release Dates. The number next to the Release Dates represents how many games have released today. Inside the Release Dates page, you can view all of the games that are releasing this month, along with a handy-dandy calendar for your viewing pleasure. Affiliates Reel Our old affiliate system has been retired in favor of one that will display all of our affiliates on every page instead of just one. Affiliates are ordered randomly and the name of the affiliate will display on a mouseover. Xbox Live GamerTag in Profile If you are willing to tell us your GamerTag, you can have it displayed next to all of your posts, along with your Gamerscore and the last five games you have played. All you have to do is tell us your GamerTag, and we'll do the rest. You also have to make sure that your Xbox 360 account allows the public to view your profile for your Gamerscore and last five games to show. PSN IDs and Wii Friend Codes may also be filled out. Working Search and Report System One of the best features of Zetaboards is that the Search and Report systems actually work. In the top-right corner of Quick Links, there is a little eyeglass icon that will take you to the search page. And if you find a post that is inappropriate for the board, click the report button underneath the post, and a moderator will be notified right here in the boards. Homepage If you go to www.gamingcoalition.net instead of forums.gamingcoalition.net, you will see our homepage! This is my favorite new feature.  All of the latest and biggest news will be highlighted, along with some of the more important links on The Gaming Coalition. Today in Gaming is also displayed on this page, along with the Quote of the Week. Finally, the games that released in the last five days and the games that are releasing in the next five days will be displayed. Be sure to check out the homepage, and please bookmark it!Virtual Console Game List I am a big fan of the Virtual Console on the Wii, but it can sometimes be hard to keep track of which games are actually on the Virtual Console. So I came up with the Virtual Console Game List that displays all of the Virtual Console games, and can be organized by console, publisher, and soon, release date. Be sure to check out all 319 games. Larger Diversity One of the problems with InvisionFree is that it really was made with only computers running Windows and Firefox with 4:3 monitors in mind. Now with Zetaboards, it displays identically whether you are running Windows or Mac OS. The four major browsers (IE, Firefox, Safari, and Opera) all display mostly the same as well. And the forums stretch appropriately for both 4:3 and 16:9 monitors. ------------- Those are all the biggest new features, but if you use the boards enough, I'm sure you'll come across some smaller new features on your own. I even hid a couple Easter Eggs here and there for our more cunning members.  Over the next week or two, there should be subtle changes, so please be lenient as I try to make all of the pages display as attractively as possible. Thanks!
