So Windows 7 came out today. Is anyone running it right now or planning to get it soon? I'm using a Mac so I obviously prefer Snow Leopard, but Windows 7 doesn't look that bad. Especially coming off of Vista. I like the "half-taskbar half-dock" at the bottom now. Other than that, from what I've seen about it, it's all a lot of small fixes that make it less annoying than Vista.

I'm still running RC build 7200 here. I'll "aquire" it one way or another when I get my new hard drive. Even the RC is a lot better than the big pile of small annoyances that Vista was. |

I guess in the next Mac update, they'll open up Windows 7 support in Boot Camp (let's you install multiple OS's on one machine) and I'll consider getting it then. I miss Rollercoaster Tycoon. :D |

You need to install a program in order to dual boot? What the what? Anyways, I got my order of Pro on Friday. I can really say I love it. I thought I wouldn't even like the no-text taskbar, but I decided to give it a try, and it really does work alot better than the old one did. Instead of using 1GB of my RAM idling, it seems to only use about 400. And I notice when I start Warcraft 3 it stays about the same, too! I also love how there's no sidebar, and they just float on the desktop. I never used the sidebar because the stupid shadow it left on the right side of the desktop annoyed me. Also, all hail google chrome! I decided giving it a try over firefox, and I lurve it. |

I'm not really sure if it is really a program. If it is, it comes installed on each Mac. Just right now it hasn't been really tested with Windows 7, so Apple isn't recommending trying to install it. I've heard some people were able to do it fine. If you have more than one OS installed on Boot Camp, you can choose which one you want to run when you turn on your Mac. |
