Microsoft has opened up several new features that have been hidden on your Xbox 360 for a couple of weeks now. Facebook and Twitter have officially been released, allowing you to easily share your gamerscore and other in-game achievements with all of your friends. :P Along with social networking, Zune video and Last.fm have also released on the Xbox 360 dashboard, allowing you to watch your Zune videos on your television, and listen to your custom-made online radio stations. On top of all of those new features, Microsoft has even created a new blade called Music Marketplace where you can purchase music videos and DLC for Guitar Hero and Rock Band games. Speaking of which, Sgt. Peppers' Lonely Hearts Club Band has released for Beatles Rock Band for the launch. ;)

Sony has responded to these updates with an update of their own. Sony promises that the PlayStation 3 will have special Facebook features coming to their console "soon."

To be honest, I don't care about any of these features. It is nice that they are there, though.
